Rock Hall of Fame Celebrates Springsteen

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum welcomes Bruce Springsteen fans from across the region and country for a weekend of events devoted to celebrating  Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Bruce Springsteen beginning Friday, June 12 through Sunday, June 14.  Live performances, public programs and screenings of rare footage presented by Emmy and Grammy-award winning filmmaker Thom Zimny and more will surround Springsteen's first-ever exhibit From Asbury Park to the Promised Land: The Life and Music of Bruce Springsteen.

Taylor Dent Gets Wild Card For Campbell's Hall of Fame Tennis Championships

NEWPORT, RI -- The International Tennis Hall of Fame announced today that 2002 Newport Tennis Champion Taylor Dent has received a wild card to play in the Campbell’s Hall of Fame Tennis Championships, scheduled for July 6-12. This is the first wild card given out for the Campbell’s Hall of Fame Tennis Championships, played for the Van Alen Cup.

Baseball Hall of Fame Celebrates Latin American Players

COOPERSTOWN, NY The joy and passion brought to the game of baseball by Latin American players is now on display for everyone to see at the Baseball Hall of Fame.

 

The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum unveiled a permanent exhibit entitled ¡Viva Baseball! on Saturday, May 23 in Cooperstown, honoring the Latin American impact on baseball through a celebration of Caribbean Basin countries and players. Hall of Famers Orlando Cepeda and Juan Marichal – two of the nine Latin American Hall of Fame inductees participated in the exhibit opening.

Jonathan Ullman Named Soccer Hall of Fame President

The 150,000 square-foot state-of-the-art NASCAAR Hall of Fame is taking shape in Charlotte, N.C., and its much-anticipated opening is on schedule for May 2010.
