Admission tickets for the 30th National Sports Collectors Convention are now available online through the National's web site at NSCCShow.com. The 30th National Sports Collectors Convention will be held July 29-August 2, 2009 at the International Exposition (I-X) Center, in Cleveland, Ohio.
National organizers have announced that General Admission, VIP and a new SUPERVIP Ticket will be available for the event. The VIP Ticket, priced at $119 for advance online purchase ($129 onsite) provides admission to all 5 days of the National including the 30th National Sneak Peek on Wednesday July 29, invitation to an exclusive VIP Reception preceding the Sneak Peek, one-half hour early entry to the show floor through a special VIP Entrance each day, weeklong use of the VIP Lounge, 12 Autograph tickets for special VIP signers plus a gift package including cards and promotional items made exclusively for the 30th National.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum will host a live broadcast of the 24th Annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Saturday, April 4 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $5 and now available at at all Ticketmaster outlets, via phone at 1-800-745-3000, online at http://www.ticketmaster.com and at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum Box Office. The 2009 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be held in Cleveland at downtown's historic Public Hall. For the first time ever, tickets were made available to the public. Because tickets to the event at Public Hall sold out immediately, the Rock Hall is now opening its doors to host a Live Simulcast of the event.

The Georgia Sports Hall of Fame will celebrate the induction of the Class of 2009 with events beginning on Friday, February 27. The big events, however, will be on Saturday, February 28. During the day, the GSHF will host FanFest at the museum. From 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM, the Class of 2009 and many former inductees will be available for autographs and pictures at the museum. There will also be a Madden Football Xbox tournament in the GSHF Theater and an appearance by the Atlanta Falcons mascot, Freddie Falcon. Admission prices will be reduced for FanFest - $4 for adults; $2 for children.

NEWPORT, RI – The International Tennis Hall of Fame and First Serve will host a special evening honoring 2005 Hall of Famer Butch Buchholz while also celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Sony Ericsson Open. The event will take place on Thursday, March 26, 2009 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Miami, Florida. A cocktail reception and silent auction will take place 7:00pm to 8:00pm, with dinner and event program starting at 8:00pm. Honorary Chairs for the event are Jeanne Moutoussamy-Ashe, The Honorable Jeb Bush and Hall of Fame President Tony Trabert. Tennis analyst and commentator Cliff Drysdale will serve as the evening’s Master of Ceremonies. In addition, Hall of Famers Gabriela Sabatini, Bud Collins and Fred Stolle will be in attendance.

The Blues Foundation has announced the inductees for the Blues Hall of Fame in 2009, including "Soul Queen of New Orleans" Irma Thomas and multiple GRAMMY Award winner Taj Mahal, as well as late Chicago bluesman Son Seals and the Reverend Gary Davis.
Austin club owner Clifford Antone, discographer Mike Leadbitter and author Bob Porter will be the non-performers inducted this year. The book I Hear You Knockin' by Jeff Hannusch was selected as a Classics of Blues Literature. The induction ceremony will be held at The Blues Foundation's Charter Member Dinner on Wednesday, May 6, at the Memphis Marriott Downtown in Memphis, Tennessee, the night before the 30th Blues Music Awards. Taj Mahal and Irma Thomas will both attend the induction ceremony.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) announced the annual induction process for the NASCAR Hall of Fame, scheduled to open in Charlotte, N.C. in 2010.
The yearly HOF classes will have five inductees selected by a voting panel consisting of NASCAR industry leaders, manufacturer representatives, former competitors, the media and fans. Inductees will be chosen from an annual list of no more than 25 candidates. The main criteria for nomination and induction: NASCAR accomplishments and contributions to the sport.
