ONE-DAY WALK-UP SALE AT THE ROCK HALL: Pre-sale tickets for upper-level seating will be available to the public for $35 and $75 during a one-day walk-up sale on Saturday, January 24 at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum Box Office. Pre-sale Tickets are also being sold on a first-come, first-served basis. The pre-sale will continue until the ticket allotment is exhausted. There will be a two ticket limit on all orders.

PICKERINGTON, OHIO - Racing legends Scott Parker and Jay Springsteen will be the guests of honor at the 21st Annual Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum "Friendraising" Breakfast on Friday, March 6, in Daytona Beach, Florida. The flat track champions will share stories with celebrated Harley-Davidson tuner Bill Werner, whose skills helped Parker and Springsteen to a number of their AMA Grand National Championships.
The Museum breakfast, a Daytona Bike Week tradition, allows attendees to mix and mingle with motorcycling's biggest names, as well as receive rare inside look at their lives and careers. The event is open the public and tickets are $49 per person. All proceeds support the non-profit Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum and its mission of telling the exciting stories and preserving the history of American motorcycling.

Tables have started selling for the 45th Annual Colorado Sports Hall of Fame Induction Banquet to be held Tuesday April 14, 2009. The event will be held at the Denver Marriott City Center.
The class of 2009 includes Ralph Backstrom, former NHL player, DU coach and founder/co-owner of the Colorado Eagles Hockey team; Laurice "Lo" Hunter, record setting Colorado high school coach; Sonny Lubick, previous Colorado State University football coach ; Jerry McMorris, former President, Chairman and CEO of the Colorado Rockies; Lt. Col. John Mosley, Denver native and Colorado A&M (CSU) grad, member of famed Tuskegee Airmen; and Rod Smith, recently retired Denver Broncos wide receiver.

PICKERINGTON, OHIO - The AMA's Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum invites fans of vintage machines to rev up for two notable events. The International CBX Owner's Association (ICOA) will pay a special visit the Museum on Saturday, January 24, 2009. Two weeks later, on Saturday, February 7, the Museum will host the Penton Owner's Group (POG) for the 8th Annual Penton Day. All riders are welcome at both events.
The ICOA event on January 24 begins at 9:30 a.m., with a tour of the Museum's colorful exhibits, including "MotoStars: Celebrities + Motorcycles" and "Awesome-Ness," an installation chronicling the career of legendary customizer Arlen Ness. The day will continue with a technical session and presentation by special guest racer Geoff Smale.

ONEONTA, NY (January 15, 2009) – Five-time MLS Champion Jeff Agoos and two-time World Champion Joy Fawcett have been elected to the National Soccer Hall of Fame. NEWPORT, RHODE ISLAND, USA – Christopher Clouser, Chairman of the International Tennis Hall of Fame & Museum and Tony Trabert, Hall of Fame President, have announced the names of the newly elected members to the International Tennis Hall of Fame. Leading the Induction Class of 2009 is nine-time Grand Slam Singles Champion and former World No. 1 Monica Seles.
Joining Seles for Hall of Fame induction is one of Spain’s most prominent tennis players of the 1960s, Andres Gimeno, who has been elected in the Master Player category. In addition, elected in the Contributor category are Donald L.
