South Bend, Ind. - On July 17-18, the College Football Hall of Fame hosted its annual Enshrinement Festival in conjunction with the city of South Bend. Family-friendly activities on Friday included a daylong Enshrinement Ribs CookOff, Cornhole Tournament and Block Party, a free event that drew record crowds with mouth-watering ribs and live entertainment from local bands Mack Pherson & the Struts and Stillshot. Friday's festivities concluded with a bang as the Enshrinement Fireworks Spectacular lit up the night and spectators enjoyed the view from the Hall of Fame's gridiron plaza. |

NEWPORT, RI – Rajeev Ram became the 15th player in the history of the Campbell’s Hall of Fame Tennis Championships to claim his first career ATP World Tour title on the grass courts at the International Tennis Hall of Fame. On Sunday, Ram won his maiden title with a 6-7(3) 7-5 6-3 win over fellow American Sam Querrey.

St. Augustine, Fla. (June 26, 2009) – World Golf Hall of Fame Board of Directors has selected the late President Dwight D. Eisenhower for induction into the World Golf Hall of Fame on Nov. 2. Eisenhower, selected in the Lifetime Achievement Category, will become the first President inducted into the Hall of Fame. Posthumously he will join Christy O’Connor, José Maria Olazábal and Lanny Wadkins as part of the Class of 2009.

Toronto, Canada - Bill Hay, Chairman of the Hockey Hall of Fame's Board of Directors and Jim Gregory, Chairman of the Hockey Hall of Fame's Selection Committee, announced today that Brett Hull, Brian Leetch, Luc Robitaille and Steve Yzerman have been elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame in the Player Category. In the Builder Category, Lou Lamoriello was elected. The vote took place today at the annual meeting of the Selection Committee in Toronto.
