Las Vegas, Nevada – Kenny Chesney won Entertainer of the Year for the fourth straight time at the 43rd U.S. Academy of Country Music Awards Sunday night in Las Vegas. With the win, Chesney tied Garth Brooks. Chesney is only one win behind "Alabama," which has won five of the top awards in row.

PICKERINGTON, OHIO – To celebrate the new “MotoStars: Celebrities + Motorcycles” exhibit, the Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum is offering enthusiasts the opportunity to take a piece of exhibit-themed memorabilia home – and support a good cause. The Museum will host a gala charity auction, featuring items donated by notable athletes, musicians, actors, artists, bike builders and industry leaders, on Friday, June 27, 2008. KNOXVILLE, IOWA (May 19, 2008) - The 2008 version of the Knoxville Masters Classic winged 360-cubic-inch sprint car race for drivers age 50 and over was strengthened this past week by the filing of official entries by defending champion A.J. Weaver of Texas and last year’s ‘Rookie of the Race’ Kenny Jacobs of Ohio. Jacobs was inducted into the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame in 2007 on the same day that he finished second to Weaver in the 22-lap Masters Classic. Last year’s ‘top eleven’ are now officially entered in this year’s $3,000-to-win event: A.J. Weaver, Kenny Jacobs, Mike Peters, Tim Gee, Greg Rilat, Ron Rosenboom, Bobby Becker, Jr., Terry Alexander, Lonnie Jensen, Shane Carson and “Midge” Miller, respectively.

ONEONTA, NY (May 17, 2008) – Chivas USA midfielder Jesse Marsch, who has played in every Major League Soccer season since its inception in 1996, has joined the top 10 in all-time games played in United States top division soccer. Marsch played his 315th career MLS match on May 11 against New England, and will move into sole possession of 10th place on the list if he plays Saturday night against D.C. United. The all-time games played list is maintained by the National Soccer Hall of Fame and Museum.
