Tony Gwynn and Cal Ripken, Jr. Make HOF On First Ballot

COOPERSTOWN, NY (January 9, 2007) – Cal Ripken, holder of one of baseball’s most prized records, and Tony Gwynn, one the game’s most prolific hitters, were elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame by the Baseball Writers’ Association of America on their first year of eligibility. Clarkson Alum Donates $2.2 Million Hockey Stick To Charity
