Canton, Ohio – Mark your calendars for the hhgregg All Pro Dad Father & Kids Experience, which will be held for the first time in Canton at the Pro Football Hall of Fame & Fawcett Stadium on Saturday, June 14th beginning at 9:00 a.m.
Fathers are encouraged to bring their children to the event, where they will learn fatherhood tips and participate in special activities with their kids, while rotating through football-themed learning stations located around the field. Immediately after the event, lunch will be provided by Chick-fil-A, and participants will have the opportunity to tour the Hall of Fame at no additional charge.
Pro Football Hall of Famer and All Pro Dad spokesperson, Anthony Munoz, will serve as the event host. "Thousands of men around the world are becoming better husbands and fathers by joining our All Pro Dad team,” said Muñoz. “What better way to celebrate Father’s Day weekend than by joining us at this event.”
Founded by Family First, a non-profit organization, All Pro Dad aims to help fathers get better connected with to their kids. The event is being presented by hhgregg, Wal-Mart, Aultman Health Foundation, and Chick-fil-A. Mix 94.1, News-Talk 1480 WHBC, and Time Warner are serving as media partners for the event.
Beginning May 20th, register for only $15 per family (Dad and up to four kids) at www.AllProDad.com or by calling 1-800-956-8300. The $15 fee includes event admission, lunch and tour of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Every father will receive a Hall of Fame-All Pro Dad event t-shirt. This event is recommended for children ages 5-14.
BACKGROUND: “All Pro Dad Father & Kids Experience” is the football-themed event of All Pro Dad, the fatherhood program of Family First, a national non-profit organization based in Tampa, Fla. It was launched with the help of Indianapolis Colts head coach Tony Dungy in 1997, features 51 NFL Players, coaches and alumni who speak out on the importance of being a good father.
