Tickets Remain For July 15 All-Star Gala at Baseball Hall of Fame

COOPERSTOWN, NY):  Storied Yankee Stadium is in its last season in New York, and this season’s best players will grace the field during the 2008 All-Star Game. Second only to being at Yankee Stadium, Cooperstown-area visitors and central New Yorkers can watch the game in style with a ballpark seat in the Grandstand Theater at the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum on Tuesday, July 15 at 8 p.m. The Hall of Fame All-Star Game Gala provides an evening of family entertainment with prizes, snacks and more for baseball fans of every age as well as Fox’s live broadcast of the game from the Bronx.

Fans will be treated to ballpark-style hot dogs and snacks, along with a limited edition commemorative All-Star Gala button for all guests in attendance. All-Star Game scorecards will be distributed to fans, and official All-Star Game programs will be available for purchase. During the game’s inning breaks, fans will be able to compete in a variety of games and trivia contests for an opportunity to win door prizes.

Tickets to the All-Star Gala are available to the general public and cost $10 for adults and $5 for children, and should be reserved in advance by calling the Museum’s Membership Department at 607-547-0397 or by visiting the membership desk at the Museum in Cooperstown. The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum is open seven days a week year round, with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day. From Memorial Day through Labor Day, the Museum is open from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. seven days a week. The Museum observes off-season hours of 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. from the day after Labor Day until Memorial Day Weekend. Ticket prices are $16.50 for adults (13 and over), $11 for seniors (65 and over) and for those holding current memberships in the VFW, Disabled American Veterans, American Legion and AMVets organizations, and $6 for juniors (ages 7-12).
