St. Augustine, Fla. (September 28, 2008)  – Items from World Golf Hall of Fame member Vijay Singh’s 2008 FedEx Cup Championship will make their way to the museum in the weeks following his crowning achievement. Singh was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2006.

“This scenario marks one of the benefits of having Hall of Fame members enshrined while they are still active,” said Jack Peter, Sr. Vice President & Chief Operating Officer of the Hall of Fame. “We think golf fans visiting the museum will enjoy seeing Vijay’s FedEx Cup items in the Hall of Fame.”

Singh’s items on display will include the shirt, shoes, hat and glove he wore on Sunday of THE TOUR Championship, as well as the golf ball and other accessories he used during that round and other FedEx Cup Playoff events.  It will also include scorecards from key Playoff rounds, a replica set of clubs and bag and a model of the rhythm training device that Singh has been using during practice throughout the 2008 season.  The items will be on display by mid-October.

World Golf Hall of Fame is the ultimate destination for the celebration and recognition of golf’s greatest players and contributors and an inspiration to golfers and fans throughout the world.  A collaboration of 26 national and international golf organizations support the Hall of Fame, including the PGA TOUR, LPGA, USGA, Augusta National, PGA of America, The European Tour and The R&A.
