SOUTH BEND, Ind. - October 2, 2008- "Football Fridays" returns to the College Football Hall of Fame's 2008 Fall Event Schedule. Catch Football Fridays at the Hall of Fame before every Notre Dame home football game this season.
Football Fridays at the Hall of Fame features autograph sessions with Hall of Famers and other football celebrities as well as marching band performances on the Gridiron Plaza, football team visits, tailgate parties, live music and much more. The first 200 fans on Friday, October 3rd will receive a Hall of Fame mini-football.
This Friday before the Stanford vs. Notre Dame game the College Football Hall of Fame is pleased to host the Stanford football team and coaching staff for a tour of the museum. Also, traveling with the team is Heisman trophy winner and Hall of Famer, Jim Plunkett.
After the team leaves the Hall will welcome LaSalle Academy and Washington High School, as both of their choirs will perform on the Gridiron Plaza. Performances will begin at 4:45pm as the pre-game show for the Flag Football Tournament.
The Hall of Fame and Downtown South Bend Inc. (DTSB) will continue to host a corporate Flag Football Tournament that will take place on various Friday's throughout football season at the College Football Hall of Fame.
Every Friday before Notre Dame home football games, join the tradition in Downtown South Bend. With live music by Uncut Version, tailgate food and drinks, giveaways, Game Day merchandise and more! Located on Michigan Street outside of the College Football Hall of Fame.
The Hall of Fame also has extended hours on all Notre Dame Home Football Weekends: Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., Saturday, 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., and Sunday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Please contact 574.235.5717 for more information on Football Weekend events at the Hall of Fame!
