The 150,000 square-foot state-of-the-art NASCAAR Hall of Fame is taking shape in Charlotte, N.C., and its much-anticipated opening is on schedule for May 2010. Residents and race fans visiting Charlotte this month for the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race or Memorial Day Weekend race activities at Lowe's Motor Speedway can get up to speed when the NASCAR Hall of Fame hits the street at the 2009 Pit Crew Challenge and Food Lion Spped Street 600 Festival.
