Washington Marching Band to Perform at the College Football Hall of Fame

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - September 30, 2009- The College Football Hall of Fame will welcome the University of Washington Marching Band as they perform on the Gridiron Plaza on Saturday, October 3 at 11:00 a.m. prior to the kick off of the Notre Dame vs. Washington game.
The band will perform come rain or shine as this Seattle based band is no stranger to rainy weather. Also, on hand will be the Husky Cheerleaders and mascot. The performance is open to the general public at no cost.
The University of Washington Husky Marching Band (HMB) is a 240-member ensemble utilizing the traditional chair-step and toe-point style of marching. The HMB is a year round ensemble that actively participates in supporting all of the Husky Athletics. All members participate during the fall to help support Husky Football at all home football games and even selected away games including this weekend.
