DENVER – The Colorado Sports Hall of Fame Museum has installed the exhibit for the National Sports Center for the Disabled, and that display puts the finishing touches on the CSHoF Museum.

"The fund raising ability of the board of directors is a big reason for the completion of the museum, along with the recent financial success of our annual induction banquet," said Dick DeWire, Chairman of the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame.

The finished museum is approximately 2,600 square feet and is sponsored by the Coors Brewing Company, with the Gallery of Legends sponsored by the Rocky Mountain News.

Displays include Sportswomen of Colorado, Denver Broncos history, The Important of Sports Conditioning, sponsored by King Soopers/City Market, along with other displays highlighting Open Fairways, Special Olympics Colorado, and the National Sports Center for the Disabled.

There are 24 biographical panels showing Hall of Famers, as well as the New Kids Zone, which is a recently included interactive area sponsored by Qwest, Arby’s, Wells Fargo, and CollegeInCororade.org.

More than 20,000 visitors per year visit the free of charge museum, celebrating all levels of sports in Colorado.

Tours of INVESCO Field at Mile High begin in the museum, which is located at Gate 1 on the west side of the stadium. The museum is open Thursday through Saturday from September through May, and Tuesday through Saturday from June through August.
