Whiteface/Lake Placid: Homecoming Jam 'n' Fest

LAKE PLACID, N.Y. – The Olympic Regional Development Authority (ORDA) will host Homecoming Jam 'n' Fest, presented by Whiteface, on Saturday Oct. 28 from 7-10 pm, in the Lussi Rink of the Olympic Center. There is no admission charge.

While you're looking it over, The Fetish, Dead Man's Hand and The Super Unstoppables will provide the musical entertainment. And in case you're ready to hit the rails, bring your ride because ORDA will set up the first rail jam of the year on real snow.

Homecoming Jam 'n' Fest will get you in the mood for the winter season ahead as area shops present the new skis and boards from manufacturers such as Burton, Rome, Rossignol, K2 and more. Cunningham's Ski Barn, Maui North, Viking and Mountain and Boardertown will have the gear and the new styles that will get you ready for the 2006-07 season.

Centerplate will provide food, drink and a cash bar. Register for this winter's Whiteface USASA Adirondack Series and the season's park and pipe events.

Whiteface staff will be available to provide attendees with the latest round of improvements at the mountain from snowmaking and grooming to Easy Acres and Kids Kampus to John's By-pass.
