Beginning Wednesday, October 11 through April 2007, visitors can enjoy reminiscences of the animated special It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown at the Charles M. Schulz Museum. This year marks the 40th anniversary of Schulz's work, which has influenced and shaped multiple generations around the Halloween season. To commemorate this anniversary, the Charles M. Schulz Museum is displaying sketched scenes of the storyboard and an original painted cell from the 1966 animated special, developed by the show's director, Bill Melendez, and its producer, Lee Mendelson. The Museum will be showing the animated special daily in the Theatre throughout October and November.
