LOS ANGELES, CA (December 28, 2006) – Hosted by Larry King and funnyman Tom Arnold, the 4th Annual Professional Baseball Scouts Foundation "In the Spirit of the Game" Dinner and World's Largest Auction of Memorabilia will bring the greatest names in baseball together for a star-studded event on Saturday, January 6, 2007 at the Beverly Hilton.

This year's guests and honorees include MLB Commissioner Allan H. "Bud" Selig, Hall of Famers Willie Mays, Tommy Lasorda, Dave Winfield, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim Manager Mike Scioscia, Future Hall of Famer Cal Ripken Jr., team owners Jerry Reinsdorf, Frank McCourt, Arte Moreno, Lew Wolff, Peter Magowan and Mark Attanasio, baseball greats - The Brett Family, Brady Anderson, Bret Saberhagen, the Birmingham Black Barons and many others as they join their peers to help professional baseball scouts in need.

For one night each year, in front of a sold-out attendance of over 1,000 guests, PBSF's "In the Spirit of the Game" event brings together America's top business executives, celebrities and the entertainment industry for an amazing evening with some of the biggest stars in baseball.

Declared as the "Best Event Produced for Professional Baseball," the Professional Baseball Scouts Foundation and its annual "In the Spirit of the Game" dinner/auction has raised over $750,000 to help scouts in financial need. The event has honored over 30 of the world's greatest legendary baseball Hall of Fame players, managers, team owners, scouts, coaches and executives. Honorees have included Sandy Koufax, Willie Mays, Reggie Jackson, Frank Robinson, Duke Snider, Barry Bonds, Texas Rangers' Eric Gagne, Boston Red Sox's Curt Schilling, Olympic Gold Medalist Jennie Finch, America's favorite baseball family, the Boones, MLB General Manager Pat Gillick, renowned baseball scouts George Genovese, Dick Wiencek, Frank Malzone, Preston Gomez, and the late Bob Zuk and Gene Mauch.
