January 7, 2007 Vancouver BC - The British Columbia Sports Hall of Fame and Museum postponing the opening of the Greg Moore Gallery.

Due to the circumstances faced by B.C. Place Stadium the BC Sports Hall of Fame and Museum will be postponing the much anticipated opening of its newest gallery, the Greg Moore Gallery. A new opening date will be confirmed as soon as possible. The Greg Moore Gallery is the fourth of four new galleries opened over the last year. The 2000 Gallery, the In Her Footsteps . . . Celebrating BC Women in Sport exhibit and the BC Games exhibit have all helped to enhance the visitor's experience at the BC Sports Hall of Fame and Museum.

The BC Sports Hall of Fame and Museum is 20,000 square feet of exhibit space. Since 1966 48 teams and 282 individual have been inducted to the Hall of Fame. The collection representing over 100 years of BC sport history has over 20,000 artifacts and 25,000 archival items. We are pleased to communicate that this important collection is safe and secure.
