National Jewish Sports HOF Announces 2007 Inductees

Commack, N.Y. (Feb. 18, 2007) - The National Jewish Sports Hall of Fame and Museum announced the Class of 2007: Senda Berenson, the mother of womens' basketball; Bonnie Bernstein, broadcaster; Howard Cosell, broadcaster; Harry Haft, boxer; George Kalinsky, official photographer of Madison Square garden; Deena Kastor, marathoner; Craig Ludin, special olympian; Dan Lurie, bodybuilder; Jerry Markbreit, NFL referee; Lennie Rosenbluth, UNC basketball player; Mark Spitz, swimmer; and Dwight Stones, high jumper.

The induction ceremony will take place on Sunday, April 29, 2007, at The Suffolk Y JCC in Commack, N.Y., beginning at 10:30a.m. "we are very proud of this years' class," says Hall of Fame Chairman Lynne Kramer, "they represent the best in their field and are represenattive of what the hall of fame is about."
