"A trip to Cooperstown is a baseball fan's pilgrimage, but there's more to Cooperstown than baseball..."

For those who love the National Pastime, a trip to Cooperstown in upstate New York is that pilgrimage of a lifetime. Each year, hundreds of thousands of baseball fans, their families and their friends, travel to the village known worldwide as the "Home of Baseball."

And, while baseball brings them here, visitors are often taken by surprise at the beauty of the surroundings, the historic setting, and the variety of other attractions. Visitors are also treated to warm hospitality in the stores and restaurants and to family comfort and amenities in the many different lodging accommodations. Beyond the Baseball Hall of Fame's doors, many baseball fans find added pleasure in the dozens of other attractions, events, and recreational opportunities that are found nearby in the village and the surrounding area.

Cooperstown is the "premier destination" for baseball faithful, but baseball fans and their families will find there is much more to Cooperstown than baseball.
